My Feelings Exactly!

I do not know if this is real, but it reflects the way I feel.

"I'm 63 and I'm Tired"
by Robert A. Hall

I'm 63
.  Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked hard since I was 18.   Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years.   I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my  job or my income, and I worked to get where I am.  Given the  economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired.  Very tired.

I'm tired
of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic.  I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired
of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes."   Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help.   But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I'm tired
of being told how  bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers.  In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of    Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China ,  the crime and violence of Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of Iran , and the freedom of speech of Venezuela ....

I'm tired
of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired
of being told  that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Obama,  when it's all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities  (harming them the most), government contract set-asides,  tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think
it's very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation.  I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I'm tired
of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I'm tired
of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.  My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live.  Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green enough.

I'm tired
of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don't think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I #@*# sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I'm tired
of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next?  Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"?  And, no, I'm not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it's been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I'm willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record  and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military.... Those are the citizens we need.

I'm tired
of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military.  They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second  decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave?  Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here's the deal.  I'll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian.  Then we'll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I'm tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption.  Read the papers; bums are bipartisan.  And I'm tired of people telling me we need  bipartisanship. I live in Illinois , where the " Illinois Combine" of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet.

I'm tired
of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I'm tired
of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor.  The majority of Americans didn't have that in 1970, but we didn't know we were "poor."  The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I'm real tired
of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I'm tired
.  But I'm also glad to be 63.  Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making.  I'm just sorry for my granddaughter.

WTF is HE (the Emperor) Thinking?

Understand, the debt and the budget is not a Demican or Republicrat problem, it is an American problem!

This what the Messiah told CNN ".."Full recovery will not happen immediately," Obama said at a news conference in Chicago. "And to make the investments we need, we'll have to scour our federal budget, line by line, and make meaningful cuts and sacrifices as well, something I will be discussing further tomorrow.".

What cuts? He has increased the deficit by 3.5 TRILLION dollars over and above where it was when he took office! He gave the Congress a budget that not even his liberal co-conspirators could not stomach because it alone added 1.5 TRILLION dollars to the deficit in ONE YEAR!

Now he threatens to withhold Social Security checks if he does not get new taxes.  He is a spoiled child that needs to be put in a "time out" after he has his ass spanked.

If any checks are withheld, do it this way and in this order:
1. The President
2. The Congress
3. The Cabinet
4. All Federal agencies except the Armed Forces, Border Patrol and ICE.

All  of his economic team has resigned except one and he has said that he will be leaving.  Christina Roemer, former head of the Idiot's Economic Council, stated " ... "Our baseline specification suggests that an exogenous tax increase of one percent of GDP lowers real GDP by roughly three percent."

In English this means that for every one percent of tax increase productivity drops three percent. A drop in productivity really means fewer jobs, more unemployment, less investment and more layoffs.

Mrs. Roemer went on to say "..I also find "no support for the hypothesis that tax cuts restrain government spending; indeed ... tax cuts may increase spending."  Want to know why?  Because when taxes go down, employment goes up.  More people working means more tax revenue so the the government can spend more. This is not rocket science. Notice that I did not say the government spends it wisely, only that it has the bucks to spend!

Today, his partner in crime, Ben Bernanke, has hinted that he will crank up the presses to print more money.
The stock market went up (it loves cheap money), gold went up, oil went up and other commodities went up.

This means every time you buy gas or go to the grocery store, YOU are going to pay for this increase via higher prices.

Obummer is dangerous beyond belief.

Remember, this is a man that has never managed a lemonade stand!

Dear Mr. President - It's the JOBS stupid!

Dear BO,

I understand that you have two problems, everything you say and everything you do! The Economy - by
every measurable standard is in the crapper.  Every dollar you have taken out of the economy has come
from someone's pocket.  That someone is the taxpayer. Let me explain free market capitalism to you.

If I, and a few million taxpayers,  bought a few things from company X, guess what would happen? Company X would need to expand.

This means involving bankers (who hire staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space),  lawyers (who hire staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), title people (who hire staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), real estate people  (who hire staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), architects (who hire staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space). Now the preliminaries are taken care of, Build the building.

You will need:  A dirt contractor (bulldozers, scrapers, surveyors all using heavy equipment) equipment operators, the manufacturer that built the equipment (that hire workers and staff, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy plant space), plumbers (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), steel erectors (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), brick layers (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), electricians  (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), mechanical contractors (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), glass contractors (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), trucking companies (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), paving contractors  (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), floor contractors (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space), and the sign contractors (who hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space).

Company X would now hire managers and employees. Company X would have to buy advertising from a paper or TV station or an ad agency all of which (you guessed it!) hires workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, rent or buy office space.

Company X would also have to buy its' inventory from many manufacturers, all of whom (you guessed it again!) hire workers, buy supplies and equipment, advertise, and rent or buy office space.  Hopefully there are a few left in the USA that your tax and trade policies have not driven to China.

Think of all of the genius and effort that went in to these enterprises by ordinary people with extraordinary goals.

I, and a few million other taxpayers would buy a few new things - if we had a job or had any money left after you finish taking it away with taxes, fees and government giveaways.

It's the Jobs, stupid!

Economics 101:  All  working people pay taxes. The more people that are working he more revenue the government gets. All non- working people consume tax revenue. Every dollar you take out of working man's pocket  to give to someone who does not work means the working folks buy less and less from Company X.  The more money you take away from Company X means less expansion, fewer employees, fewer benefits and less inventory.

While in theory, taking from the rich and giving to the poor (your social justice and wealth redistribution) sounds good to the dumb and poverty stricken, the simple fact is that this theory does not work and has never worked. Look around!  The USSR, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, Romania, Croatia, Georgia,
and others have all undertaken the socialist experiment you advocate and all have failed, are failing or will fail.

The reason for this failure lies in human nature.  All people are not equally smart, nor do they equally work hard, nor do they equally consume,  and so forth.  Until they do, socialism will fail. This is human nature.
I submit that that only God can change human nature and in spite of the high opinion you have have of yourself and the low opinion you have of all others, you are not God.

Simply put, BO, get the government out of the way, stick your green agenda up your ass, call off your regulatory goons, quit spending money like a drunken sailor (at least the sailor quits when he runs out of money) and let the private citizen take care of the economy. He, at least knows what he is doing!

You, sir, have never managed a Taco Bell.

The True Cost of Illegal Immigration

I found this in a comment section of a website.  It is a letter from a school teacher in The Socialist Republic of California.

This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet.
This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent
From a California school teacher - - -

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic
and income levels

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc.. where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.
(OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls(some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids.
(OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing
funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America ..
(OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less than 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" (whores ) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, day care, etc, etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled not only to be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

Americans, We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and anAmerican culture that has become so weak and worried about"political correctness " that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know including your Congressmen and Senators.

CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth ,
a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for
$5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no
income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return,
he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps..

He qualifies for free (no deductible),
no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills...

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.
Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at
(our) taxpayer's expense .

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans
are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills AND his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people!

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR EITHER PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'

WE WILL ALL GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON'T CARE

How to Solve Illegal Immigration

This so damn simple I am ashamed for not thinking of it sooner. While talking to a friend of mine today I experienced an epiphany. Here is the solution:

Catch every illegal we can. When we have enough (which shouldn't take long), put'em on a bus to

Washington, D.C.  Imagine, hundreds of buses from each of 15 or twenty states all going to D.C.!

Confiscate all the drugs and guns.

When they arrive at the Beltway, give them back the guns and drugs and let them go.  Maybe in front of the Justice Department would be a good place,  "Y'all enjoy the weather now, hear?"

This plan has numerous advantages. The locals no would longer have to foot the bill for jail and food, crime would drop, the word would get out not to come here so the problem over time would diminish, it would free up the court systems, the FEDS would have to deal with the problem that they have refused to acknowledge.

The illegals get a free bus trip anyway- just not to where they had planned.

The only problem I can foresee is that D.C. already has so many criminals (some wearing suits), it may take the illegals a while to get noticed.

The Wolf is at the Door!

The White House Council on Rural America

Fair Warning – This is Scary, the Threat is Real

In the first part of the month, while the country was obsessed with Weinergate. President Obummer created by Executive Order, the above mentioned “council”.  On the surface, it sounds innocent enough until you dig a little deeper. This council could usurp (steal) your rights as a free American.  I will point out a few things here and you can judges for yourself.

The White House Council on Rural America has the stated goals of (the emphasis in red is mine)

The White House
Office of the Press Secretary
For Immediate Release
June 09, 2011

Executive Order - Establishment of the White House Rural Council

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America and in order to enhance Federal engagement with rural communities, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. BARACK OBAMA
THE WHITE HOUSE,
      June 9, 2011.

This is the U.N.’s AGENDA 21 in disguise! This is but one more step to surrender the sovereignty of the United States to the PUKES at the United Nations.  Several organizations (some funded by George Soros) are pushing this agenda.
If allowed to continue YOU WILL LOSE YOUR BIRTHRIGHT AS AN AMERICAN!

What is Agenda 21?  If you do not know about it, you should.

Agenda 21 is a two-decade old, grand plan for global ’Sustainable Development,’ brought to you from the United Nations. George H.W. Bush (and 177 other world leaders) agreed to it back in 1992, and in 1995, Bill Clinton signed Executive Order #12858, creating a Presidential Council on ‘Sustainable Development.’ This effectively pushed the UN plan into America’s large, churning government machine without the need for any review or discussion by Congress or the American people.
‘Sustainable Development’ sounds like a nice idea, right?  It sounds nice, until you scratch the surface and find that Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development are really cloaked plans to impose the tenets of Social Justice/Socialism on the world.

At risk from Agenda 21;
  • Private Property ownership
  • Single-Family homes
  • Private car ownership and individual travel choices
  • Privately owned farms
The Agenda 21 plan openly targets private property.  For over thirty-five years the UN has made their stance very clear on the issue of individuals owning land;
Land… cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.
There are two more, very good reasons to be wary of Agenda 21 and the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) that supports it: George Soros and the United Nations. Soros money has been tracked to funding parts of ICLEI ;
In 1997, George Soros’s Open Society gave ICLEI a $2,147,415 grant to support its Local Agenda 21 Project
As regards the UN, that organization‘s problems with America’s appreciation of freedom and self-determination is one that needs no explanation.

Here are some quotes that you may find interesting:
Revealing Quotes From the Planners
“Agenda 21 proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by EVERY person on Earth…it calls for specific changes in the activities of ALL people… Effective execution of Agenda 21 will REQUIRE a profound reorientation of ALL humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993). Urgent to implement – but we don’t know what it is!

“The realities of life on our planet dictate that continued economic development as we know it cannot be sustained…Sustainable development, therefore is a program of action for local and global economic reform – a program that has yet to be fully defined.” The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published by ICLEI, 1996.

“No one fully understands how or even, if, sustainable development can be achieved; however, there is growing consensus that it must be accomplished at the local level if it is ever to be achieved on a global basis.” The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published by ICLEI, 1996.
Agenda 21 and Private Property

“Land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice.” From the report from the 1976 UN’s Habitat I Conference.
“Private land use decisions are often driven by strong economic incentives that result in several ecological and aesthetic consequences…The key to overcoming it is through public policy…” Report from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development, page 112.

“Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the UN’s Earth Summit, 1992.
Reinvention of Government

“We need a new collaborative decision process that leads to better decisions, more rapid change, and more sensible use of human, natural and financial resources in achieving our goals.” Report from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development

“Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective.” Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chairman, ICLEI. The Wildlands Project
We must make this place an insecure and inhospitable place for Capitalists and their projects – we must reclaim the roads and plowed lands, halt dam construction, tear down existing dams, free shackled rivers and return to wilderness millions of tens of millions of acres or presently settled land.” Dave Foreman, Earth First.

What is not sustainable?
Ski runs, grazing of livestock, plowing of soil, building fences, industry, single family homes, paves and tarred roads, logging activities, dams and reservoirs, power line construction, and economic systems that fail to set proper value on the environment.” UN’s Biodiversity Assessment Report.
Hide Agenda 21’s UN roots from the people

“Participating in a UN advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy- fixated groups and individuals in our society… This segment of our society who fear ‘one-world government’ and a UN invasion of the United States through which our individual freedom would be stripped away would actively work to defeat any elected official who joined ‘the conspiracy’ by undertaking LA21. So we call our process something else, such as comprehensive planning, growth management or smart growth.” J. Gary Lawrence, advisor to President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development.

Fixing the Economy

Okay folks, let's fix the economy.   The biggest problems are :
A. The Deficit
B. Housing is in the toilet.

C. Inflation
D. Unemployment

Let me first state that we are Americans. There is nothing we can not do if we decide to do it.

The deficit and related payments are sucking the economy dry.  Money that could be used in this country to improve the life of Americans is being shipped overseas at an alarming rate.  First we must curb reckless, devil may care spending policies.  Some politicos want a balanced budget amendment. Frankly, I doubt that is what we need.

Some debt is needed for growth. I have personally been on a "pay as you go" cash basis and I have had an above average credit rating.  On a cash basis, buying the things you want or need sometimes had to wait. If I wanted a car, I had to save for it thus delaying the purchase vs. borrowing the money and buying it now.  How long would it take the average person to save enough to buy a $30,000 car or a $100,000 house? The car would be worn out and in the junk yard by the time you had saved again to replace it.  No, You need debt in order to grow.

The Treasury has already had trouble selling US Treasury Bonds, thus the advent of "Quantitative Easing I and II. This is where the government bought its own bonds! Taking money out of the left pocket and putting it in the right pocket.  Makes no sense what so ever! It is a shill game!

Instead of balancing the budget lets limit the US debt to a percentage of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).  Today the debt is about 36% of GDP. We are borrowing $0.40 of every dollar the government spends. Lets cut that to around $0.10 of every dollar.

To do that we must cut spending. We have God knows how many duplicate programs in the government. For example, we have 35 different agencies in the intelligence area (then why are we so dumb?).

Do away with the TSA. This agency is not needed and it's functions can easily be absorbed by other agencies where truly needed,  For instance, let the FBI monitor terrorists, let the FAA worry about airport security, and let the Coast Guard handle port security,  These agencies already do some of this so why do we need the TSA?

Lets eliminate the EPA  and consolidate some of its function to the Interior department. After all, is not air quality or water or wildlife within the US an interior problem?

Former Senator Everette Dirkson stated  about the budget "...a billion here and a billion there, pretty soon it all adds up."

We can also raise revenue. The "rich" already pay more than their fair share. If we are going to tax anyone, lets get some tax money from the 48% that pay nothing. Hello? Anyone listening? Close some loop holes. Why should one be able to deduct the interest on a motorhome as a second home?  There are more people living in their cars than in motorhomes, yet they can not deduct their car as a second home!  Large boats and yachts as a second home? NO WAY!  Look at the Child Tax Credit. A lot of people get more back as a tax refund than they pay in. Stop it!  If you pay in $4000.00, you do not get back $8000.00. You can not get back more than you pay in.

It is time for a flat pay as you go sales tax with NO income tax in individuals.

Housing is in the toilet because of  liars, cheats and thieves.  Low interest rates and easy money sucked everyone in. Home buyers lied on their loan application - throw them in jail, it is a CRIME to falsify a legal document. Bankers approved loans without proper documentation and verification of the facts. Throw them in jail for "breach of fiduciary duty" - also a crime.

Go ahead and foreclose on delinquent property owners or renegotiate the contract, Clear out the clutter and stop all this government bailout BS and then raise the interest rates on housing! In every housing down turn there are thousands of buyers waiting to buy in when the rates hit bottom. This would signal the bottom has been found and folks would start buying.  If you  are a senior and your home is paid off, no property taxes. The home is truly yours!

Inflation is insidious and the government is manipulating the data.  Real life inflation is food, gas, insurance, clothing, utilities,  etc. all of which the government does not include when it calculates "core inflation".  Uncle Sam wants you to stay stupid!  Inflation has two root causes, the first is excess demand, the second is currency devaluation.  There is no excess demand therefore currency devaluation is the culprit.

From a previous post:

Fed monetary policy is killing us. All commodities are priced in US dollars. The Fed needed money for debt service, Obummer’s heath care bill, bailouts, buying car companies, and all the imaginary “shovel ready” projects. What did they do? The Fed just fired up the presses and printed more money! Imagine the dollar is a piece of a pie. The pie has 10 slices and sells for $10.00.  Your slice of the pie is therefore is worth a dollar. Now here comes the geniuses at the Fed and from nowhere doubles the number of pie slices (dollars). Since each slice is now ½ the original size, your dollar (slice) is worth ½ of what it was.  There are two choices.  The pie must now sell for $20 dollars to maintain the original value of your slice or continue to sell the pie for $10.00 and accept that your slice is now worth $0.50 cents.  Either way, you lose.

We can fix the dollar's value, we just haven't.  Stop the printing presses!

Everything said previously revolves around employment. The real problem is that no job means no money which means no buying which leads to no demand which leads to no jobs or layoffs (I know it is a run on sentence and grammatically incorrect).  This problem is not hard to fix.

Start by giving every company a tax credit, say $5000.00,  for hiring a new full time employee in the USA.
Give them $1500.00 for a part time employee. More people working (and paying taxes) would offset any lost revenue to the Feds PLUS increase demand which would require more hiring.

Give generous tax incentives for new businesses. How about NO TAXES for first 3 years?

Get the government out of the way, turn us loose! There are other things that can be done. What is important is to unleash the American spirit!

In closing this post I will say that we are the most productive, most innovative, and hardest working people in the world. Get the hell out of the way and watch what we do!
